Kayangan Villa and its surroundings allow for many activities to be enjoyed. It is our pleasure to assist you with organizing your activities. We are constantly striving to act in a manner of responsible tourism and support the local community. Below are our recommended activities hosted by local suppliers and people from nearby villages.
A hands-on cooking class that offers a culinary experience well beyond the simple preparation of food. All classes include a small hiking adventure around the area before the cooking class starts. Ask our staff for detailed information on the cooking courses
The sportive way to discover the area. What better way to explore the neighboring area at your own leisurely pace than on a bicycle? We have some mountain bikes for our guests to use, on a first come first serve basis. Explore the nearby villages on your own and feel the local vibe or discover East Bali on a guided, off the beaten track mountain bike tour. This adventure brings you around various vegetation levels and through the rice paddy fields. Return transfers, lunch at a local restaurant and bottled water are all included.
RICE FIELD TREKKING
Enjoy the wonderful views around Kayangan Villa with an early morning, off the beaten track rice field trekking tour with an experienced, English speaking local guide. We recommended you pack long pants and closed shoes to wear on this adventure.
Water Purification Ceremony “Melukat”
A very unique experience; an ancient Balinese purification ritual to cleanse the body of negative physical and/or emotional trauma. The ceremony usually takes place by the sea in the early morning hours, and is held by a Balinese Priest. For this special ceremony, a few days of advanced notice is required to allow enough time to prepare the many offerings that are to be made. Please note that you will get wet during the ceremony, therefore we recommend to bring some clothes to change into afterwards. You will be provided with a sarong to be worn during the ceremony and a towel to dry off.
